The goal of the organization is to teach the game of golf to juniors (boys and girls) from ages 7 to 17. Through the lessons and the golf tournaments, we hope to teach some valuable life lessons as well. Golf is a great game in which you can learn individual skills as well as team skills. They learn such things as how to survive adversity, discipline, how to set goals, and best of all respect and care for those around you. We believe that the sooner you learn these skills the better you will be. Year 2012 The cost to join the Maine Junior Golf Club is $10 This includes group golf lessons July 9th-July 11th 8:30-10:00am for 7-12 yrs old, 10:30—12:00pm for 13-17 yrs old. Members free to play in the junior golf tournaments, and more group golf clinics at no extra charge after each junior tournament. We have 5 junior golf tournaments during the summer. July 16th, July 23rd, July 30th, Aug 6th, Aug 13. Tee times start at 8:00am. Juniors play in their age groups and proper tees 7-9, 10-13, 14-17. The cost for each Junior tournament is Free for members of Barnes Brook Golf Course and The Maine Junior Golf Club. $10 for any other junior who would like to participate Open to ALL Juniors Boys and Girls. The Maine Junior Golf Club Cup is the combination of all 6 junior tournaments. Each participant each week receives points based on how they place in each weeks tournaments. The points are added up for a total of the 6 weeks and an overall Maine Junior Cup winner in each age bracket will be awarded. There will be an awards banquet and a parent / child scramble on for all the juniors. Barnes Brook Golf Course is such a great place to learn and to play this game. We really enjoy having the juniors play. Junior memberships are only $125 for all year long -- how can you go wrong! |

| The Maine Junior Club is playing on Saturday mornings on the indoor golf simulator during the winter months. It is $5 per week. 8:00 am - 10:30 am 7-12 yrs old, 10:30am - 1pm 13 - 17 yrs old please call in advance every week space is limited. |
